Lifelines to support the climber in the tree are commonly used to allow for better access, comfort, and most of all safety when getting out to the furthermost parts of a tree.

Rigging and lowering of branches safely with the use of pulleys and snatch blocks, rated ropes and friction drums/devices is something that all the crew are familiar with and ensures maximum safety and efficiency.
